The Automotive Technician Accreditation (ATA) has been developed to identify these highly trained and skilled individuals. Automotive Technician Accreditation is based on National Occupational Standards to ensure that it meets the skills requirement of the retail motor industry.
Accreditation is valid for five years. Accredited technicians must have current experience at the level they wish to be assessed.
This course will give candidates a sound knowledge of the equipment used during the senior MET test.
This includes:
• Air conditioning
• Multimeters
• Four wheel alignment
• Spring compressor
• Cooling system pressure tester
• SRS handling and storage
This course can also be tailored to the individuals training needs.
Prerequisites
Minimum of five years' industry experience in an appropriate role
