solving problems and making decisionsProblem Solving Training Courses in Glasgow | Edinburgh | Scotland |
Course Outline
Problems occur in every sphere of our lives, but in a management context they are particularly important. In fact, its often claimed that the most important things that a manager has to do are solve problems and make decisions.
Problems solving and decision making can be seen as two ends of the same process. The focus is primarily on identifying and understanding problems and seeking possible causes. This means that decision making is greatly simplified. Some problems are easy to deal with, unfortunately for managers, supervisors and team leaders the problems they face are anything but clear cut. Fortunately, if we adopt a systematic approach, there are few problems that cannot be tackled successfully.
This two day course will look at the concept of problem solving and decision making, and will develop knowledge and skills through a range of practical exercises.
