
BSC CERTIFICATE IN MANUAL HANDLING RISK ASSESSMENT |
The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 require employers to assess any hazardous manual handling tasks that cannot be avoided and reduce the risk of injury, so far as is reasonably practicable. The Level 2 Certificate in Manual Handling Risk Assessment provides formal recognition of an individual’s ability to undertake a manual handling risk assessment in line with the Health and Safety Executive’s guidance. Accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority(QCA) at Level 2 in the National Qualifications Framework.

Coverage
Candidates book their assessment with GTG for the BSC Awards for a fee of £30 (+VAT). Candidates complete a workplace-based risk assessment task and submit this electronically to BSC Awards for marking by an external examiner. Results and certificates issued within ten days.
