The Paediatric training course at GTG is designed for those delegates who already have a HSE approved First Aid Certificate. It will offer the opportunity for those involved in the early years and education to provide quality and effective first aid care.

The course is suitable for teachers, classroom, assistants, childcare staff, parents, grandparents, babysitters and anyone working with children and the early years.

Pre-requisites

Must have successfully completed a HSE Approved First Aid Course and as a "First Aider" should have the following factors:-

• Aptitude and ability to absorb new knowledge and learn new skills

• Ability to cope with stressful and physically demanding emergency procedures

• Normal duties. These should be such that they may be left to go immediately and rapidly to an emergency.
