This course meets the legal requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act of 1974 and is formally certificated by HSE. It is designed to provide the work place with trained personnel who are able to deal safely and effectively with a person that has been injured or suffered sudden illness prior to medical aid being obtained.

Delegates are required to renew their certificates every three years.

Prerequisites

No previous experience is required, however delegates should have the ability to cope with stressful and physically demanding emergency procedures

Staff designated to act in the role of the first aider in the work place
