Course Description

This course is designed to instruct the participants in the skills and principles involved in driving minibuses.

The driving test includes vehicle safety questions, an off-road reverse manoeuvre, a controlled stop and bus stop procedures.

Prerequisites
If car licence held prior to 1997

  • Theory Test
If car licence held after 1997
  • Medical
  • Provisional Licence with Category D1 entitlement
  • PCV Theory Test
Who should attend this training course?

Personnel who passed their car test prior to 1997 who wish to drive a passenger carrying vehicle between eight and sixteen seats for hire or reward.

Personnel who passed their car test after 1997 who wish to gain the minibus (D1) entitlement on their licence for either hire or reward or personal use.
