Course Description

This course is designed to teach selected delegates to drive lift trucks and to gain a competence certificate as required by the code of practice. It will also act as a refresher for those persons who wish to renew a certificate.

Prerequisites

  • Five day novice course - little or no experience.
  • Three day experienced course (no previous certificate) - operatives with a minimum of 6 months continuous experience.
  • Two day conversion course - currently hold a lift truck type and wish to add an additional machine (ie, counterbalance to reach).
  • One day refresher course - currently hold a lift truck competence certificate.

Any personnel who wish to achieve a high standard of forklift truck training and gain or refresh a certificate of competence.
