Course Description

Under operator licensing legislation, all holders of National Operator licences are required to hold, or employ someone who holds, a National Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). Our course covers the syllabus of Oxford Cambridge RSA Examinations (OCR). To obtain a CPC, the candidate must pass National Freight CPC Units 1, 2 and 4.

Prerequisites

No previous experience is required.

Who should attend this training course?

This course is designed to teach potential transport managers or owner drivers, the basic knowledge to be named as a competent person on the company's operator's licence. The CPC is a level 3 award (equivalent to A-level standard) and to achieve success students should have a good level of numeracy and literacy skills prior to attending.
