Course Description
This course is designed to raise an awareness of the dangers involved when using ladders, steps and trestle type work platforms in the workplace.
Prerequisites
No previous experience is required.
Who should attend this training course?
Any person who requires to use ladders, steps and/or trestles as part of their daily duties.
Key Benefits
- Individuals will be shown the correct methods of selecting, inspecting and using the most appropriate and safe means of ladder, step and trestle for a specific task.
- The individual will learn the safe codes of practice within HSE at Work 1974, PUWER 1992, HSE Work Regulations 1999, Construction of Health & Safety Welfare 1996 and Manual Handling 1992.
