About GTG Health and Safety Advisory Service

The management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999 state that ‘every employer must enlist one or more competent persons to assist them in complying with their statutory duties under Health & Safety Law'.  GTG's Advisory Service is an extremely cost effective solution where the size and or nature of the organisation does not justify employing a full time health & safety professional and allows your organisation to achieve legal compliance and maintain health & safety performance.

Furthermore, GTG's Advisory Service can assist your organisation in tendering and pre-qualifying for contracts with clients' contractors requiring organisations to clearly demonstrate their competence and arrangements with regards to current health and safety requirements.

Options

GTG's Advisory service can accommodate a multitude of organisations covering a variety of business sectors. The service can be tailor made and is split into 4 packages to suit your individual needs. Clients can choose from 4 available service options detailed below:

Costs are dependent upon the nature of the business activities, the size of the premises and the number of people employed. The service payment can be spread over 12 equal payments allowing for budgetary continuity. Significant discounts are also available for multi site businesses.

Email Advice and Telephone Support

We offer unlimited email advice from our professional safety consultants where a dedicated email address will be accessed by our whole safety team. 

We supplement the above service by the provision of a telephone advisory service. This service would be available to you between the hours of 9.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday (out of hours calls may be made in exceptional circumstances).

Safety Policy

GTG's advisors will devise and develop your health and safety policy in conjunction with you to meet your statutory requirements and business needs. The policies meet with 18001 standards and HSG 65 requirements.  GTG will carry out an annual review of your health and safety policy and provide recommendations as to any amendments or updates that are required.

GTG customers will receive a copy of our regular newsletter 'Live Latest's' as well as regular and more detailed health and safety information sheets on key topics of interest to keep you on top of the latest developments and changes in health and safety.
