GTG Health and Safety Advisory Team are fully qualified Health and Safety advisors, each member has occupational competencies in their field of expertise.
We pride ourselves on giving competent advice with the minimum of fuss. We will carry out an initial site visit and gap analysis to identify any shortfall so that a comprehensive management action plan can be constructed to enable
legal compliant.
 | Joan Marshall - Health & Safety Training ManagerHaving worked for GTG for 25 years, Joan has an unrivalled depth of knowledge, expertise and experience with regards to health and safety training. Joining the company as a training coordinator, Joan was initially involved in the well being and education of the apprentices, ensuring their training programmes were completed successfully.With encouragement from senior management and further study, Joan completed a management qualification and has been a manager with the company for the past 12 years. Joan holds the position of Health and Safety Manager. |
 | Jim McCubbin - Lead Health & Safety Advisor & Trainer Jim’s extensive experience derives from 24 years within the Ministry of Defence as a Health and Safety Officer. Within his current role Jim assisted senior management to establish their health and safety systems as well as carrying out risk assessments and safety audits and ensure compliance for their Policies and procedures. Jim has an array of formal training qualifications including specialist areas relating to Health & Safety as well as delivering IOSH, NEBOSH and the British Safety Council courses to a very high standard. Jim holds the position of Health and Safety Team Leader. |
 | Derek Japp - Health & Safety AdvisorDerek is an experienced Risk Consultant who has expert knowledge of carrying out Safety Audits on clients business. He has specialist knowledge of golf course and leisure/hotel industries. His Specialist knowledge comes from carrying out insurance surveys on behalf of a major finance company. Derek holds the position of Health and Safety Advisor. |
 | Eddie Cowan - Health & Safety Advisor & Trainer Eddie is a fully qualified and experienced First Aid trainer from 22 years within the Ministry of Defence. Eddie carries out Health and Safety Training to national recognised standards. Eddie has the ability and competence to develop training programmes to fulfil individual client’s needs. |
 | Bill Gallagher - Health & Safety TrainerBill has a plethora of formal training qualifications including specialist areas relating to all aspects of Health & Safety including NEBOSH. Bill is a Health & Safety (first-aid) at Work Subject Matter Expert (SME). RoSPA trained. Bill holds the position of Staff Development Officer and Specialist Trainer, Assessor and Internal Verifier. |
