GTG Training announces this week that it will be offering FREE Information Technology (IT) half day courses for over 55s every Friday throughout 2010.

Using technology is something that a lot of us take for granted.  Sending emails to friends and family, shopping online, using computers to socially network with people we haven't seen in years, transferring priceless photographic memories from camera to computer, and tracking down family history are just some of the activities available online.  However, not everyone is lucky enough to have had access to - or know how to use - a computer or the internet .

You can't teach old(er) dogs new tricks

A statement that is often made, but wholly untrue.  GTG is looking for YOUR help to prove that computers aren't just the playthings of the younger generation.  Are you over 55?  Do you live in the West of Glasgow*?  Would you like to learn how to use a computer?  Or would you like to increase your existing computer skills ?  If you don't meet these criteria, maybe you know someone that does - a relative, friend, neighbour?
