GTG Training announces this week that it will be offering FREE Information Technology (IT) half day courses for over 55s every Friday throughout 2010.
Using technology is something that a lot of us take for granted. Sending emails to friends and family, shopping online, using computers to socially network with people we haven't seen in years, transferring priceless photographic memories from camera to computer, and tracking down family history are just some of the activities available online. However, not everyone is lucky enough to have had access to - or know how to use - a computer or the internet .
As a leading Information Technology Training provider, GTG understands this and have an exceptional record in bringing through new skills, as well as nurturing and enhancing existing abilities. Situated within a state of the art, custom built training centre for over two years in South Street, Glasgow - GTG is looking to give something back to the local community for the support it has received.
New Year's resolutions tend to be hit and miss affairs, with the majority being broken before the morning of 2nd January has been and gone. So why not make a resolution that GTG can help you with. Resolve to increase your computer skills , email a loved one, save money by going online or fix photographs you have recently taken. GTG's New Year's resolution? To offer FREE half day courses every Friday in 2010.
You can't teach old(er) dogs new tricks
A statement that is often made, but wholly untrue. GTG is looking for YOUR help to prove that computers aren't just the playthings of the younger generation. Are you over 55? Do you live in the West of Glasgow*? Would you like to learn how to use a computer? Or would you like to increase your existing computer skills ? If you don't meet these criteria, maybe you know someone that does - a relative, friend, neighbour?
To find out more about whether you are eligible for the FREE classes and to find out what you can learn, call GTG Training on 0844 576 5650 and quote 'newsroom'.
