GTG was delighted to provide essential training to four Ghanians who travelled 3,500 miles from their home city of Accra to Glasgow to participate in a bespoke course.

They studied Call Centre Management, a tailor made 3-week workshop designed specifically at the request of their employer, the Electricity Company of Ghana. The ECG supplies electricity to 2.2 million customers throughout Ghana, and so it is vital that they have competent staff who understand the requirements of running a call centre efficiently.

The workshop allowed participants to discover best practices throughout the call centre industry within the following areas; Operational Management, Leadership, Learning and Development, Quality Management and Human Resources Management. Essential skills including communication, customer service, problem solving and decision-making are also all given emphasis during the course.

Emily Myakoaa Pardie, one of the four participating students said, "ECG chose GTG Training Centre as we wanted the best training and "wow" results. I will use my new skills to make my team more effective." When asked about the benefits of the course, another of the students Esther Klenn-Akiakpo said, "I will be able to improve my role in the team, enrich my job as an outbound team member and assist in the setup of an inbound team in the future."

This was the students' first ever trip to Scotland and they each had a resoundingly successful experience.

GTG Training offers a huge range of courses to suit all skill levels and requirements. Contact us on 0844 826 8870 for more information.
