GTG hosts The Green Blue first Scottish conference
GTG Training is delighted to host The Green Blue annual environmental conference on Saturday 09 October 2010. The environment programme for the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and the British Marine Federation (BMF),is delighted to announce that Tom Cunliffe, world renowned sailor, author and broadcaster, is confirmed as the key note speaker for this year's conference which will be held in Scotland for the first time.
Tom, fresh from his recent successes with his BBC 4 series, ‘Boats that Built Britain', will be addressing the delegates and inspiring them with his inimitable style and enthusiasm for the marine environment.
Sarah Brown, Regional Advisor for The Green Blue in Scotland said: "Tom's infectious enthusiasm is bound to inspire delegates at this year's conference and I, for one, am thoroughly looking forward to hearing what he has to say."
The conference will draw on experts from the fields of sustainable development and environmental management to give delegates a real insight into how they can cut their CO2 emissions, save money and improve their boats and their businesses.
There will be a host of different workshops for delegates to choose from, as well as a selection of insightful talks from the likes of the Scottish Coastal Forum, Strathclyde Police's Wildlife Crime Officer Co-ordinator and the Regional Director of Visit Scotland.
