GTG Training is delighted to announce that it has been nominated for another award. The training and conference facility has reached the final stages of the Bodyshop Magazine Industry Awards, excelling in the Education/Training category. With the winner being announced at the Industry Awards Night on Friday 11th September at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, GTG hopes to clinch the double on this evening as the winner of the Scottish Event Awards, Best Unusual Venue is also being released; in which GTG is also nominated.
David Scott, chief executive at GTG , said "This second nomination confirms GTG's diversity. Not only do we provide an exciting, usual event venue, but going back to our roots, we provide state of the art, expert training and education. I am truly thrilled for everyone at GTG and extremely proud of the hard work and determination each and every member of staff has contributed to ensure GTG stays at the top of its field."
The Bodyshop Magazine Industry Awards looked for organisations who were raising industry standards and generating the skills base vital for the future of the industry, focusing in particular on the centres strategy, changes made to its training provision, new repair techniques and technology, internal quality assurance, future aims and objectives, professional development, training facilities, courses and qualifications offered and the centres overall marketing strategy.
GTG is in a strong category, facing Bridgwater College, S & B Automotive Academy and Training 2000 Ltd to clinch the Education/Training Award. Having progressed through the nomination stages to reach the final it is just one final hurdle for GTG to leap to bring the title back home to Scotland.
