IMI Accreditation Electric Vehicle Technician

This course is designed for technicians whose job role involves the inspection, maintenance and repair of light vehicles as well as those involved in accident repair body shops (IE MET, Panel, Paint, VDA).
Candidates will have to successfully complete a range of practical and knowledge based assessments. IMI Accreditation is achieved through full assessment which involves the completion of all-practical and knowledge based assessment at each level.

The technician must be able to work unsupervised ideally, they should be in full time employment with at least two years experience to ensure they are familiar with skills, knowledge and techniques required to service, maintain and repair vehicles fitted with high voltage batteries/components such as hybrid or pure electric vehicles.
