ILM Level 4 in Leadership & Management
The Level 4 Award in Leadership & Management is designed for new and aspiring middle managers.
This course will help you to get to grips with your role, gain comprehensive business knowledge, and develop the technical skills you need to lead effectively at this level.
All candidates are required to submit an assignment, which will reflect the contact and learning outcomes of each unit at the expected level of understanding and application.
The work will be marked and a minimum pass-mark of 50% is required to achieve this qualification.

- Understand your specific responsibilities as a middle managers in enabling your organisation to achieve its goals.
- Understand how communication and interpersonal skills affect managerial performance in the workplace.
- Be able to assess personal development opportunities to improve your own managerial performance.
- Be able to assess and develop your own leadership styles and behaviours and how these impact on your team and organisation.
Who Should Attend
This course will assist the middle manager to consolidate their current management skills and experience while helping to develop the capabilities and personal awareness needed to be a leader.
It will provide employers with middle managers who have an advanced understanding of their role and function in the organisation.
There are no formal entry requirements, however the candidate must be able to apply the techniques and skills in the workplace
