CDM Awareness - 1/2 Day
This course has been developed to provide delegates underpinning knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, incorporating the changes introduced by the 2015 Regulations. The course delivers to the requirements and background of the CDM Regulations, including the roles and responsibilities of the Client, Designer, CDM Coordinator, Principal Contractor, Sub-Contractors and outlines the contents of Health and Safety Plans and Files.

- Improved knowledge of the legal requirements contained within the CDM Regulations
- Understand the background to the regulations and the expectations of the HSE
- Have a better understanding of the problems faced by the various parties involved in the CDM process
- Have an appreciation of the roles and responsibilities of Clients, CDM Coordinators, Designers, Principal Contractors, Contractors and Sub-Contractors

Employees with responsibilities under the CDM Regulations will find this course will assist their knowledge and awareness of these regulations.
There are no formal entry criteria for the CDM awareness course however for those with some experience of dealing with contractors will find this of the most benefit.
