NEBOSH GC2 Course
This is unit 2 of the National General Certificate and as with unit 1 to ensure coherent understanding of the syllabus we apply a combined learning approach consisting of 42 hours tutor lead and 26 hours home study. Delegates will develop a sound understanding of how to control workplace hazards across varied work related activities. These additional skills can be applied from an office environment to the more complex industries.

On completion of this course, you will have:
- A breadth of understanding of workplace hazards and methods of control, for example working at heights and manual handling.
- An understanding of workplace transport operations and the factors which may be hazardous
- An outline of organisational responsibilities for the health and welfare of employees, for example workplace tasks to be considered under the PUWER regulations
- A knowledge and understanding of fire and electrical hazards and control measures
Who Should Attend
People who have a key responsibility for Health and Safety Management at work such as; Safety Advisor, Manager, Supervisor or a nominated competent person.
There are no formal entry criteria for admission to the National General Certificate course however an understanding of the practical application of Health and Safety would be beneficial.
