Course Summary
This course is designed to train experienced but uncertified delegates to operate Boom & Scissor MEWPs (mobile elevated work platforms) safely.
Course Prerequisites
Candidates must have previous experience. Attendees must have PPE, i.e. hard hat, hi-vi vest / jacket, safety footwear and supply a harness and suitable training area.

Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 Regulations and also relevant sections
of PUWER, LOLER and the Working at Heights 2005 Regulations.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required when operating vehicles.
Pre-use inspection of the machine.
Accident prevention and correct procedures to carry out in the event of an emergency.
Safe operating procedures in accordance with the approved code of practice.
To provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills to operate a mobile elevated work platform under varying work and operating conditions safely and efficiently.
